Facebook has updated its official iPhone app with the release of version 3.3.3, bringing a number of user interface tweaks to the app.
The update, now available for iPhone and iPod Touch devices, does not introduce any new features, although does fixes a number of bugs that had previously plagued the app.
According to Into Mobile, the updated app, which is available in a variety of languages including Chinese, French and German, now brings key improvements to the chat and messages feature and enhanced notifications user interface.
The app now features a much improved notifications UI and has also introduced tweaks to the Places features and better memory usage. The update has also fixed some known bugs that caused the tool to crash during use.
Facebook's iOS app is used by millions of iPhone users but the company is yet to release an official app specifically designed for Apple's iPad tablet PC. The iPad supports specially designed apps from Amazon and Virgin Media, which just released an iPad specific magazine.
