iPhone maker Apple has released the latest update for iPhoto, which comes with the iLife software suite.
The update fixes some known issues and enhances the overall performance of the programme.
iPhoto update 9.1.1 brings a highly anticipated email feature to the popular photo editing platform, allowing users to send photos to their friends via email as well as rescale the photos before emailing them.
According to Tech Tree, users will be able to able drag and drop photos to the email section of the tool to send them.
Some of the other email function enhancements released by the company, will allow users to send the iPhoto files via a third party email application, as well as the ability to rescale photos to small, medium and larger sizes before mailing them as attachments.
The updates can be downloaded via the Software Update function on the Mac or can be accessed directly from Apple's website.
