Search giant Google is giving an early Christmas present to its 500 YouTube video partners gifting them $1,000 worth of credit at B&H Photo.
In a blog post, the company explained that from its 15,000 video partners around the world, the $1,000 credit would be given to 500 partners who produce content primarily for the web.
The intention of the gift is to help the partners upgrade and improve their video production hardware.
“We hope this will provide our most popular partners with the tools they need -- whether it be a new camera, sound & lighting equipment or editing software -- to produce even higher quality videos and ultimately drive bigger audiences to their work,” the company said.
Google also noted that users had watched more than 700 billion videos on the platform during the year and uploaded more than 13 million hours of video content.
