Facebook received more web traffic than Google on Christmas day in the UK, surpassing the search engine giant by 0.7 per cent.
According to a holiday web metrics report released by Experian Hitwise, Facebook accounted for 10.5 per cent of all page views in the UK on Christmas day, while Google accounted for 9.77 per cent.
Holiday web traffic from other countries like US is yet to be released but according to AllFacebook.com, Facebook is now near to beating Google in terms of web traffic around holiday time.
Last year in the US, Facebook had received more traffic than Google on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day along with the New Year's day.
