AHX Global is set to launch its Windows 7-based itablet W101 at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

Micron Technology is on the verge of unveiling four new solid-state drives (SSDs) at the upcoming Storage Visions conference in Las Vegas.

Toshiba is planning to launch a range of glasses-free 3D TVs into the market before the close of fiscal 2011. The Japanese firm is set to showcase two prototype models - one 56-inches the other 65-inches - at this week's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, and is likely to launch one over 40-inches and another over 50-inches to the public.

Microsoft has released a security advisory for a recently discovered bug which could allow hackers to seize complete control of PCs.The advisory states that the bug exists in Windows Graphic Rendering Engine and could allow hackers to run remote code execution on infected PCs.

EA's FIFA 11 has beaten Call of Duty: Black Ops to the top spot of the UK video game charts for the last week of 2010. This is the second time that Activision's blockbuster has been forced to relinquish first position in the charts.
