Carphone Warehouse launches low costing tariff

Popular mobile phone retailer has announced its lowest ever tariff with a number of mobile phones attached, for just £5.10 a month.

The new tariff from CPW is accompanied by 50 minutes and 50 text messages, on their own TalkMobile plan – which uses Vodafone’s backbone, in a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) deal between the two companies.

Carphone Warehouse’s best value tariff features a choice of four handsets, the Samsung E2121B, Nokia 1800, Nokia 2330 or Nokia 2220.

The Samsung E2121B is a candy bar style mobile, with a 1.52-inch display, a 0.3 megapixel camera, a build in FM radio and MP3 player, along with a 2GB microSD card and is also available from £9.95 on a pay as you go tariff.

Nokia’s 1800 is also a candy bar format phone and arrives with a 1.8-inch display, a build in FM radio and torch, where the handset runs from the Symbian S30 operating system and is available from £7.95 on prepay too.

The Nokia 2330 classic is another candy bar mobile and has a 1.8-inch display, with a VGA camera, a dedicated FM radio button, whilst running from the Symbian S40 OS and is also around on pay as you go deals, starting at £14.95.

Nokia's 2220 is a slider handset, with a 1.8-inch display, with a VGA camera, an FM radio and 32MB of memory, where it runs the Series 40 OS and is also available on prepay for £29.95.

Carphone Warehouse is also offering a Taste Card that is worth £69.95 with new phones, which gives 50% off food at over 4,000 restaurants around the UK with a free Android and Apple app for searching on participating restaurants.
