Playboy founder Hugh Hefner has tweeted that the magazine will be bringing its entire newly-digitised magazine back-catalogue to Apple's iPad.
He said that the company will be launching a new app for Apple's iPad, set to allow users to access both old and new Playboy magazines in their digital form.
“Big news! Playboy - both old & new - will be available on iPad beginning in March,” he tweeted.
The magazine mogul also informed via Twitter: "Playboy on iPad will be uncensored".
It is still not known how uncensored versions of the back-issues will be possible considering Apple's draconian views on nudity on its iOS platform. The current editions of Playboy and Sports Illustrated for iPad are published without full frontal nudity. Apple has also made it clear in the past that the company will not tolerate apps that contain nudity or illicit language on iOS.
The digital back-catalogue of Playboy issues will be available from March.
