Another day, another rumoured release date for the iPad 2, coming from the same German website which told us that the iPhone 5 would be live on the 6th of June 2011.
The original Apple ipad was announced on the Wednesday 27th of January 2010 and its calendar app showed the 27th and Schimanke discovered something similar in the newest iteration of iOS.
The latest update for the iOS 4.3 on the iPad shows the 9th, which could either mean 9th of February or March (April being too far away and May too close to the launch of the iPhone 5).
Some however are dubious about the announcement (rather than launch) of the iPad 2 on that date citing the fact that the date can also be found on original iPad tablets.
So why the 9th of March and not February? First HP is holding a WebOS related event on the 9th, Apple might decide to crash the event to demonstrate its ability to wow journalists.
There's also the fact that the 9th of February is only a few days before the Mobile World Congress, an event that will attract a lot of journalists' attention and where Apple won't be present.
