HTC 7 Pro handset available with Vodafone

Popular mobile phone retailer Expansys is carrying the HTC Windows Phone 7 Qwerty keyboard based mobile, free with a £30.65 a month tariff.

The newest Microsoft WP7 phone to arrive is being sold gratis with an accompanying Vodafone contract, which has 300 minutes, an unlimited text message bundle plus a 500MB data allowance. There is also a free universal car mounting kit, plus a car charger too.

HTC’s 7 Pro arrives with a 3.6-inch WVGA 480x800 touch screen, a slide out 5-row Qwerty keyboard, along with a 5 megapixel camera whilst running from a 1Ghz processor – with 8GB of internal storage.

The HTC 7 Pro mobile differs from the only other keyboard based WP7 handset – the Dell Venue Pro – by the way the keyboard slides out from the phone, which is horizontal on the Venue Pro and vertical on the HTC device.

Windows Phone 7 is the platform running the handset, with its six hubs being the centre point of the OS – with the People, Pictures, Games, Music and Video, Marketplace and Office hub.

Expansys also carries the phone SIM free and unlocked, for the princely sum of £459.99 with an arrival date of February 11th.
