Following the official unveiling of the Nintendo 3DS last week, industry sources have now revealed the identity of the titles launching on the same day as the handheld console.
During last week’s live events in Amsterdam and New York, Nintendo revealed that 25 games will be launched for the console between March and the end of summer.
MCV reports however that 10 titles will launch the same day that the 3DS goes on sale in March.
Citing retail sources, the games website announced that these amongst the 10 launch titles would be: Nintendogs (and -cats), Street Fighter IV, Pro Evo, Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, Asphalt 3D, Rayman 3D, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow Wars 3D and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D. The rest of the 10 are as yet unnamed.
Other titles expected to be released during the launch window are Rabbids 3D and Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D as well as 3D versions of Dead or Alive and Mario Kart.
The console will launch in the UK on 25 March, costing around £230.
