Samsung Recycles "Unpacked" Campaign For Galaxy S2 Launch At MWC 2011

Samsung is set to announce a new product on the 13th of February at the Mobile World Congress event to be held in Barcelona and there are hints that this may either be the successor of the Samsung Galaxy Tab or the heir to the popular Galaxy S.

Given that the Galaxy Tab was launched back in September (and has only been available for sale four months ago), it is likely that the new device to be released will be the Galaxy S2 (assuming Samsung keeps the same moniker).

Samsung used a previous Unpacked campaign back in June 2009 to launch another mobile phone, the Symbian-based Samsung i8910 otherwise known as the Omnia HD.

The new website (opens in new tab) promises that "something big is coming" and invites those interested to join the next evolution at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked. The fact that they used the picture of the Samsung Galaxy S smartphone talks for itself as well as the term "evolution is fate".

The Galaxy S2 should come with a design similar to the Nexus S and possibly include a more powerful processor. Note that there will be a teaser for the device up as early as the 1st of February.
