Another online retailer is taking preorders for the Dell Venue Pro, claiming it will arrive in early February 2011.
The unlocked phone fetches £434.39, making it the cheapest QWERTY handset running Windows Phone 7 on the market, and its 4.1-inch OLED touchscreen display - protected by toughened Corning Gorilla Glass - is one of the largest for the platform.
The Dell Venue Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz, 512MB RAM, 1GB ROM with an additional 8GB microSD card, a 5-megapixel camera and a 1400mAh battery.
The Windows Phone 7 is also capable of playing Xbox LIVE games and offers tight integration with Windows Live, Bing and Microsoft Office Mobile. As part of Windows Live, Microsoft is also offering a free "Find my Phone" service which allows the users to ring, lock and erase a lost phone, as well as show its location on a map.
Some might consider it a turn off for a phone like this to weigh 180g and be 15mm thick, but the Dell Venue Pro is targeting the same market as RIM's Blackberry, where big and chunky is not necessarily a bad thing.
