A number of online retailers have dropped the price of the HTC Desire HD days before the start of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, prompting rumours that HTC might be preparing a few surprises.
The Desire HD Comes with a huge 4.3-inch WVGA display, Dolby Mobile, SRS virtual surround and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a brand new graphics GPU, the Adreno 205.
It has 768MB RAM, 1.5GB onboard storage (with an additional 8GB microSD card provided), four sensors, an eight megapixel camera, 720p HD video recording, Android 2.2 with HTC Sense UI and Wi-Fi.
One big improvement the Desire HD has over the Desire is the inclusion of HTCSense.com which is HTC's equivalent of Mobileme. This online service allows users to remotely control their phones, locking it if it is lost and even forwarding calls and texts to another phone.
