Two UK retailers have quietly put a landing page for the Samsung GT-i9023 which landed at the FCC in the US back in January 2011, one month after the official launch of the Google Nexus S phone.
Back in January, Engadget wrote that the phone will come with Android 2.4 (see video below), which according to a report published yesterday, may come as early as April.
The current Nexus S is known as the Samsung GT-i9020 which means that the new model is likely to have only a few minor differences.
The phone comes with a Samsung S5PC110 processor that combines a 1Ghz ARM Cortex A8-based Hummingbird CPU with a PowerVR SGX540 GPU.
It has 512MB DDR memory and 16GB onboard storage; other features include a 4-inch slightly curved glass Super AMOLED touchscreen, support for NFC, Android 2.3 Gingerbread but strangely enough no microSD card reader.
