Security firm Trend Micro has unveiled eight new data protection tools and services in an elaborate launch at the RSA security conference in California.
The company said in a press release that the products were aimed at enhancing Trend Micro's Data Protection portfolio, allowing small and medium sized companies to access a wide range of products to protect their sensitive data.
The new products launched include DLP Network Monitor 2.0, DLP Endpoint 5.5, Endpoint Encryption, Endpoint Encryption for Removable Media, SecureCloud 1.1 and Business Security 7. The company also released a new data privacy and encryption module and data protection services.
Many businesses struggle with the complexity, cost and manageability of data protection solutions. Trend Micro has tried to address this by developing easier to operate solutions and keeping the cost for data protection down to as low as $10 per user.
Steve Quane, chief product officer for Trend Micro said in a statement “Data protection is paramount in any organization's security strategy. The new products and services provide our customers with proven solutions to encrypt, control, and protect confidential data - endpoint to cloud.”
“These solutions further our vision of protecting digital information wherever it resides, with less cost and complexity,” he added.
