Xerox has unveiled a new range of printer products that will allow small and medium-sized businesses to print professional grade documents without bearing excessive costs.
The Xerox Phaser 6010 colour laser printer, which is priced at $299, comes with a compact design and the ability to print 12 colour documents or 15 black and white pages per minute. With a paper holding capacity of 160 sheets, the printer is good for printing cards, labels and stocks, among other custom printing jobs.
The second laser printer on offer, the Xerox Phaser 6500, priced at $399, is more powerful than the 6010 with a pages per minute rate of 24 for both colour and black and white documents. The printer is also available with a two-sided output model for $499.
The final addition to the range is the Xerox WorkCentre 6505, a multi-function machine that brings copy, scan, fax and other capabilities on a single system designed to help companies in managing printing tasks more effectively. The $649 device comes with functions like scan to email, scan to USB and direct scan to applications including optical character recognition.
The Phaser 6010, Phaser 6500, and WorkCentre 6505 all print up to a print resolution of 600 x 600 x 4 dpi.
