Seattle based software giant Microsoft has announced a range of games arriving on the Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system, along with handsets running that platform. These games are Angry Birds, Doodle Jump, Plants vs Zombies, Hydro Thunder Go, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I and geoDefense.
The new line-up was unveiled at a gaming event in San Francisco and are due to start arriving on April 6th, where they will all feature Xbox Live abilities of accruing achievements and leaderboard ranking.
Angry Birds will arrive with the regular game play seen on other platforms, where the angry birds dish out revenge on the green pigs who stole the birds' eggs and over 195 levels of play.
Doodle Jump is the game where you guide the Doodler up the never-ending sheet of graph paper, whilst using various contraptions to avoid countless obstacles.
Plants vs Zombies has pitched each zombie with its own special skill, where you battle obstacles such as a setting sun, creeping fog and a swimming pool on five different game models.
These games are already popular on other platforms, where news of them all arriving on WP7 can only make the OS more attractive to potential buyers with cementing the overall usefulness of the Windows Phone 7 to existing customers.
