Carphone Warehouse has listed monthly tariffs for the newly announced HTC Incredible S with prices starting from £30 per month on a two year contract either on O2 or Vodafone.
The phone, which was released at the Mobile World Congress last week, is a souped-up version of the HTC Desire S with a better camera and a bigger screen. More importantly though, it still keeps the single core system on chip from Qualcomm which might put it at a disadvantage compared to its rivals.
The handset comes with a 8-megapixel camera with AF and flash, HD video recording, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 768MB RAM, 1.1 GB onboard storage, Android 2.2 which will be upgraded to Android 2.3 Gingerbread through an over-the-air update soon after launch and HTCSense UI
Vodafone's £30 deal gives you 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB internet while the O2 deal, at 64p extra comes with data, 600 minutes and unlimited texts.
There are also some 18 months deals starting from £45 per month with 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB data on Vodafone or 1200 minutes, unlimited text and data on O2.
In comparison, T-Mobile sells the HTC Desire HD, a similar phone with a bigger screen, with 600 minutes, 500 texts and 1GB data for £23.67 per month on a two year contract.
