UK wireless carrier Three has added HTC's Wildfire S, Desire S and ChaCha smartphones to its 'Coming Soon' page, complete with the month of release for each one.
The smartphones were unveiled by HTC during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. According to the Three 'Coming Soon' page, the Desire S will be launched in April, followed by the Wildfire in May and HTC ChaCha in June.
The HTC Wildfire S builds on the design of its predecessor and will ship with Android 2.3 Gingerbread installed. The device will come with a 3.2 inch touchscreen and a 600 Mhz processor along with a 5 MP camera with flash.
The Desire S on the other hand, a high-end iteration of the award winning Desire handset from HTC. Although the company launched two new Desire series phone back in October, Desire HD and Desire Z, the Desire S definitely is a throwback to the original Desire in terms of look and feel.
The device will come with a 3.7 inch touch screen powered by a 1Ghz processor and will be shipped with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Desire S comes with a slim aluminium body and a 5MP camera with LED flash.
HTC ChaCha is being plugged as the first Facebook phone that comes with a Facebook dedicated button that grants instant access to the platform. The device has been deeply integrated with the social networking platform and will come with a Qwerty keyboard to boot.
Three did not provide pricing details for the upcoming HTC smartphones.
