The smallest independent mobile phone operator, Three UK, is apparently reaping the benefits of an all-3G strategy by boldly offering all you can eat mobile data access on two PAYG packages for as little as £15 per month.
The company was offering the One Plan which was the first (and still the only) true, unlimited data tariff (without any fine prints attached) in December last year with 2000 minutes, 5000 3-to-3 minutes, 5000 texts and all-you-can-eat-data on a two year contract.
Marc Allera, Sales and Marketing director for Three said that Three "wants to get people using their smartphones in the way they were designed to be used, and that means data."
The cheaper of the offers, All in One 15, costs £15 and gives 30 days access to all you can eat data along with 300 any network, anytime minutes and 3000 texts; the all in one 25 costs £25 and offers an additional 200 minutes.
As for every PAYG packages, this one lasts only one month, renewable every month. 3 UK has yet to confirm whether the package actually includes 3-to-3 intra networks minutes as well as it does on their One Plan.
Customers who joined Three network - which has now more than six million customers in the UK - prior to September 2010 will need to migrate onto the current tariff.
