Three Mobile has announced that it will be selling the iPad 2 3G from as little as £199 for the 16GB version, £249 for the 32GB and £349 for the 64GB model for existing customers while new ones will have to add £30.
Three doesn't match Vodafone's £24.50 per month package but offers 15GB monthly data allowance rather than the puny 2GB offered by the red team and Orange.
Three says that those looking to take a Pay monthly contract instore will have to bring some form of ID like a passport or a driving license as the iPad 2 will only be available instore from 5PM today and the existing customer discount can only be obtained instore.
The total cost of ownership for the iPad 2 package from Three Mobile stands at £829 for the cheapest package which means that users will be paying £330 for two years worth of broadband or £13.75 for 15GB of data allowance each month (bear in mind that the 16GB 3G iPad 2 costs £499).
Surprisingly, Three Mobile is also selling the original iPad but only the 64GB 3G SKU for £20 per month with 15GB per month on a two year contract with a £224 upfront cost (or £15 a month on a one month rolling contract with an upfront £699 cost which is actually ludicrous given that the most expensive iPad 2 costs £659).
