Two of Research in Motion's upcoming BlackBerry smartphones have been leaked in a series of video tutorials on YouTube.
The videos, some of which can be viewed on the Cnet website, reveal two BlackBerry devices, the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930 codenamed Dakota and the Touch 9850, codenamed Monaco.
The four leaked tutorial videos show how to insert a SIM card in the device, how to navigate the home screen, how to make and receive calls on the device.
The device shown in the videos is primarily the Bold Touch 9930 which is seen with a full-blown Qwerty keyboard along with a touch sensitive screen with pinch-to-zoom capabilities. The phone also seems to be running on the BlackBerry 6.1 OS. The BlackBerry Touch device also pop-ups in the leaked video, without a full-touch screen in place of a keyboard.
There had been reports that RIM had asked the videos to be removed from YouTube, though they still appear to be on the site at the time of writing. The company should soon be launching the new devices, perhaps at the upcoming Blackberry World Conference in May.
Smartphones aside, RIM is also preparing to launch its flagship Playbook tablet to the market. Playbook will run on the new Blackberry OS and will come with support for applications based on Google's Android platform.
