The official release date for the Motorla Atrix in the UK is yet to be declared, but reports are that once it lands on the market, it is going to be an Everything Everywhere exclusive.
The highly anticipated Motorola Atrix, which has already been launched Stateside, comes with a 1 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB SSD and an HD display. The device should run on Android 2.2, with a gingerbread update to follow.
With all these features along with the three connector docs, the Atrix is believed to be yet another step towards bridging the gap between computers and phones.
Since its release on the US market there has been greeted with a mixed response. Some market analysts claim that in spite of all its impressive hardware and specs, the sales figures for the new Motorola device have been somewhat unsatisfactory, at least until now. Others have even gone as far as to write the Atrix off as a failure, even after such a short space of time.
It will be interesting to see how the device is accepted in the UK smartphone market. Motorola, so far, has not provided any official date for its release. Everything Everywhere is the largest mobile network operator in the UK, which was formed when Orange UK and T-Mobile UK merged last year.
