Electronics retailer Carphone Warehouse is offering Research in Motion's BlackBerry Curve 8520 Smartphone device with integrated social networking and email support.
The smartphone is available in a variety of pay-as-you-go options from mobile phone operators O2, T-Mobile, Vodafone and Orange.
The Wi-Fi enabled device comes with much loved BlackBerry Messenger and a smooth QWERTY keypad for super-fast typing. Aided by the growing BlackBerry App World software offerings, the device features an enhanced web browser for accessing the web on the go.
However, the entry-level BlackBerry device comes without 3G support therefore users will have to make do with the Wi-Fi. Weighing 106 grams and featuring a compact 109x60 x13.9 design, the BlackBerry Curve 8520 comes with 320 x 240 pixels main screen, that when coupled with the beloved trackpad, offers a decent device navigation and web browsing experience.
RIM has throw in a 2 MP camera and an internal phone memory of 256 MB which can be extended up to 16GB as per your needs. The device comes with a robust MP3 player and photo and video editing tools, that when couple with the integrated social networking and email make photo sharing a breeze.
Carphone Warehouse is offering the BlackBerry Curve 8520 for £119.95 along with a £10 top-up.
