Asus EEE Pad Transformer Keyboard On Sale For £55

Asus has announced that it will put the EEE Pad transformer keyboard dock on sale, but only via its own website (opens in new tab) for £55 including postage and packaging.

Strangely enough, only those who have actually received the EEE Pad on its own, will be able to buy the docking station.

They will have to email and include the serial number of the tablet, the date and place of purchase, a screenshot or photocopy of the order as well as full contact details upto the 29th of April.

Only then will an invoice be issued together with payment instructions. The deal is only available to those end-users in the UK who have preordered the tablet without the keyboard dock in the UK before midnight on the 22nd of April.

Asus has confirmed that the docking station bundle is set to arrive on the week commencing 25th April, but cannot exactly say when it will be available on retailers' shelves.

The company added that the EEE Pad Transformer has proved to be "immensely popular" since it was launched last week.

Indeed, we reported how the tablet, together with the docking station, has already turned out to be the best selling tablet at Amazon ahead of the iPad and the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
