Doro 615 – hands-on walkthrough on video

One Mobile Ring caught up with Doro at a recent launch event for their new mobile phones, with their easy to read screens and even easier to use keyboards and are targeted at the over 65s.

The video below highlights their upcoming Doro PhoneEasy 615 mobile phone, which falls into their 5th generation of handsets and is the first to arrive with a camera – in any of their series.

The phone is due to ship in September, with a 3.2 megapixel camera and a secondary screen on the outside of the clamshell phone.

Doro’s 615 also has the ability to block certain aspects of the phone’s menu, which aids in simplifying the mobile for the non-advanced users.

Arriving on the Doro phones in the future are possible applications which could address the three A, B and C buttons on the mobile. These functions can relate to the taking of medicine, where a button could be pressed after taking prescribed medication at a certain time or a message will arrive reminding the user and a call is placed after a great period of time has passed.
