Mobile Phone network Orange has announced it will exclusively be carrying the dual-core Motorola Atrix handsets in May, on a £35 a month contract.
Motorola’s Atrix will arrive running the Android ‘Froyo’ 2.2 OS, with a new Moto application called webtop which is able to run a full version of Firefox - complete with Flash support.
The mobile phone is accompanied by the world’s first 4.0-inch qHD Quarter High Definition 960x540 touch screen, with 1GB of RAM, a 5 megapixel camera - capable of HD video capture, with storage in the form of 16GB that’s expandable by the microSD card.
The new Motorola mobile has been designed with a view to be used to create and edit media and documents, with an optional multimedia and laptop dock that enables access to a larger 11.6-inch screen, keyboard and keypad.
One part of Everything Everywhere will be carrying the Atrix for £35 a month, on a 24 month tariff, which is accompanied by 600 minutes, an unlimited text message bundle and a 750MB data allowance with unlimited access to Orange WIFI.
