HTC Wildfire S available at Carphone Warehouse

Well-established mobile phone retailer Carphone Warehouse has opened up the ordering of the budget Android sequel HTC Wildfire S mobile phone, on contracts starting from £20 a month.

The HTC Wildfire S is the update to the budget model Google mobile OS driven Wildfire from last year, along with being one of the smallest handsets in their arsenal at 10.13cm long and 5.94cm wide.

HTC's Wildfire S ships with a 3.2-inch 320x480 touch screen, whilst being powered by a 600MHz CPU, with 512MB of internal storage and a 5megapixel camera with a flash, along with Android 'Gingered' 2.3 and the HTC Sense UI.

Carphone Warehouse is carrying the Wildfire S at £20 a month and only on Orange, which is accompanied by 200 minutes and an unlimited text message allowance over a 24-month plan.

The same cost is also available with 100 minutes, an unlimited text message bundle and a 250MB data allowance too.

One Mobile Ring already took stock of the HTC Wildfire S at the end of March, where we published and hands-on walkthrough in images here and an initial thoughts review of the handset here.
