Enterprise software maker Oracle has revealed details about its cloud-based Fusion HCM (Human Capital Management) tool.
The product, part of Oracle’s upcoming Fusion Applications suite, will run on Oracle’s cloud platform, unlike other Fusion products that can be deployed on premises.
Oracle’s Software-as-a-Service offers a multitenancy feature, which allows multiple companies to use the same instance of a program without sharing data, although the company doesn't often get into technical details about how multitenancy works, PC World (opens in new tab) reveals.
“Built from the ground up to help you do things your way, know your people better, and work as a team, Oracle Fusion HCM re-thinks the business of HR to provide value to every person in your organization – from HR professionals to employees and managers,” Fusion HCM’s webpage explains.
The tool will come with come several features like payroll and benefits, compensation management, performance and goal management and workforce prediction, to make human resource management a much simpler process within an enterprise. Fusion HCM will also come with support for PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and E-Business Suite products.
Fusion HCM is currently available via Oracle’s early-adopter’s program but it is not clear when the company plans to make it available for a public release.
