Software maker BMC has updated its entire cloud management portfolio in a bid to allow public and private organisations to build and manage flexible cloud computing environments.
The company says that its cloud management portfolio is a part of its Dynamic Business Service Management (BSM) platform which allows IT organisations to manage public, private and hybrid cloud environment from a single console.
BMC’s updated, second-generation Cloud Lifecycle Management tool comes with support for multi-tiered cloud services that are used to create a business-ready cloud environment. The tool will also come with built-in Service Governor tech, which leverages automation tools to better manage cloud services.
“Over the last two years, we have worked closely with more than 400 organizations to create a comprehensive cloud management solution that enables the agility business users expect from IT,” Kia Behnia, BMC’s chief technology officer, said in a statement.
“BMC is the only solution provider capable of deploying and managing the broadest choice of cloud environments with the full context and rigor of comprehensive dynamic Business Service Management for ongoing operational support,” he added.
The company also revealed that it was working with Cisco on the Integrated Cloud Delivery Platform, which combines BMC’s CLM and Cisco Unified Service Delivery solution.
