It has been reported that a new first-person shooter for Kinect has made its way onto the developing table at Microsoft’s Vancouver-based Games Studio.
The employees of the two floor MGS Vancouver studio, known as Zipline studio before Microsoft acquired the company two years ago, are currently believed to be working day and night on the project.
“MGS Vancouver is building a world-class development team in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, dedicated to making games for ‘core’ gamers,” the company said in a statement.
“Our mission is to push the limits of proven and unexplored game development and show the world what's possible on Microsoft's game consoles,” it added.
Though Microsoft has not given any official confirmation as far as these reports are concerned, but an online resume of the art director Shawn Woods hints about a growing inclination in the company’s effort towards a “core AAA shooter experience using Kinect”.
Earlier Microsoft had announced that the new MGS Vancouver studio is working on an unnamed title for the Xbox 360 platform.
“We’re looking for people (for the project) who are a great cultural fit with our studio who have energy, passion, and determination,” the company said in a statement, gamer.blore reports.
