On-line retail giant Amazon has listed the two new upcoming social HTC mobile phones that were announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona – the Salsa and ChaCha, with a shipping date of June 26th.
The duo of HTC handsets were unveiled amongst six other devices, which were the HTC Flyer, Incredible S, Desire S and Wildfire S with the Salsa and ChaCha being the last to arrive, with a dedicated Facebook button.
HTC’s ChaCha tips up as a Qwerty keyboard budget BlackBerry–esque phone, with a 2.6-inch 480x320 touch screen, a 600MHz processor, 512MB of internal storage, a 5 Megapixel camera and Android with the HTC Sense overlay.
The HTC’s Salsa is a 3.4-inch 480x320 touch screen handset, with 600MHz and 512MB of storage, a 5 MP camera with flash, whilst running from Android with the HTC Sense UI.
Both mobile phones are geared up for social networking with ‘one touch’ access to Facebook, where a dedicated physical button has been provided on the phone to launch the app.
Amazon UK has listed the HTC Salsa for £319.99 and the HTC ChaCha at £249.99, both unlocked and SIM free with that June arrival date.
