WordPress hosting service provider ZippyKid has inked a deal that will allow it to host its own services via RackSpace Hosting.
ZippyKid offers premium services for bloggers, small businesses and online retailers, to host blogs and websites on WordPress. The company offers managed hosting services, including server admininstration and WordPress management.
The company offers plans starting from as low as $20 per month.
The company plans to host the WordPress websites on the RackSpace Cloud, which will ultimately result in faster page load times, Zippy Kid said. Zippy Kid will host the websites using Cloud Servers, Load Balancers, and Cloud Files offered by RackSpace.
“With the combination of ZippyKid and Rackspace Cloud Servers, companies can focus on developing the content for their Web sites while leveraging the deployment and hosting expertise of ZippyKid and Rackspace,” said Nishan Sivathasan, director of corporate development for Rackspace the San Antonio Business Journal (opens in new tab) reports.
Zippy Kid has also launched a special offer for existing RackSpace customers, offering a free trial of their services for 60 days. The company will migrate existing websites to their systems free of charge.
RackSpace recently released its financial report card for the first quarter of 2011, which revealed a net revenue of $230 million, 28 percent year-on-year growth.
