PlayStation Network shows first signs of recovery

Sony's broken PlayStation Network is showing the first signs of recovery according to a very recent forum post.

NeoGaf user Kagari notes the one sony QA tester and several other PS3 developers were reporting that the private developer version of the network, which mirrors the public portal allowing coders to test their in-production games, is currently up and running.

We're hearing reports that the whole thing is a bit flaky, that some users are experiencing random disconnects and that there's no way for new users to sign up, but it's the first physical sign that Sony's beleaguered infrastructure will soon recover from the hack attack which has brought it to its knees for several weeks.

The last official word from Sony was that parts of the network could be out until the end of May but that network teams were working day and night to get everything up and running.
