Electronic Arts has launched a Limited Edition pack for the upcoming shooter Battlefield 3 for pre-orders, the company revealed.

The Battlefield 3 Limited Edition: Physical Warfare Pack is exclusively available for pre-orders from Game and Gamestation.

The warfare pack will endow users with weaponry which will be available at their disposal for day one. The Physical Warfare pack offers the Type 88 light machine gun, the SKS sniper rifle and armour piercing rounds for the DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun. The pack will also offer access to the coveted shotgun itself.

EA is also offering the Battlefield 3 Back to Karkand digital expansion pack along with the Physical Warfare pack.

“The buzz around Battlefield 3 is already incredible and we know that our customers are excited about what they’ve seen so far. This exclusive offers more to Battlefield fans that ever offered before and we know that fans won’t be disappointed with it! We are delighted to offer this UK exclusive to all of our customers, creating an even better gaming experience,” said Neil Ashurst, Head of UK PR for GAME and Gamestation.

The game publishing giant is yet to announce a release date for the highly awaited game, but with Infinity Ward releasing the trailer for the Modern Warfare 3 game, industry watchers believe that Battlefield 3’s release will be close to the November 8 launch date set for MW3.
