Amazon Web Services has joined forces with Capgemini to provide its customers with advanced support for the delivery of SAP application on its Web Services platform.
Amazon and Capgemini disclosed this new deal in a joint statement yesterday. The duo also announced that Capgemini will be providing its expertise to help enterprises to install SAP applications as well as to migrate their existing applications.
Capgemini will also offer an on-demand monitor and operation service for companies, it revealed.
“Our customers have realized to remain competitive in an increasingly dynamic market, they not only have to do more with less, but they also must continue to innovate quickly,” said Joe Coyle, vice president and North American chief technology officer at Capgemini, ExecutiveBiz reports.
Last week SAP revealed that a number of 3rd party integrators and providers were going to offer a handful of services including planning, migration, deployment as well as other forms of CSS (customer support service) in order to back SAP on the Amazon EC2 platform.
Also, Amazon and SAP are planning to unveil more products in the coming months, which include the likes of ERP (enterprise resource planning), compatibility and many more.
