Mobile phone network O2 has launched a new way of topping up a mobile phones’ credit on their network, by Facebook.

This new service allows pay as you go O2 customers the ability to add money to their account, from just heading to

O2 is the first major mobile phone network to offer this service, and all without the need to leave the Facebook website that we all so often frequent for liking, tagging and poking.

When the O2 Facebook app is made available, O2 users can just visit and click on the Pay & Go Top-up tab, where the process to add credit to their account is exactly the same as on

This will be the only place O2 users can top-up from Facebook, as this might very well prompt scammers to create some fake systems and offers.

There are 30 million plus Facebook users in the UK, with a quarter of a million people joining O2’s page on that very site.

O2 has created this feature to allow their customers the access to that social networking site, to connect with people, pages and photos along with topping up and without leaving the site or the O2 webpage.
