HTC ChaCha Offered By UK Wireless Carrier Three, Available Free On £20 Contract

HTC’s highly anticipated Facebook centric ChaCha Smartphone is now being offered by UK wireless carrier Three (opens in new tab).

The device, which comes with a dedicated Facebook button, is being offered for free on £20 per month contract. Three users can also go for the £29.99 per month The One Plan, which offers unlimited data use, 5,000 free Three to Three minutes, 2,000 free minutes on any carrier and 5,000 text messages.

The carrier is also offering the device for £249.99 for pay-as-you-go customers. The HTC ChaCha comes with a dedicated Facebook button and has its media and sharing functions deeply integrated with the social network.

The device also comes with a 2.6 inch touch screen, a full but tiny Qwerty keyboard, a 5MP camera at the back and a front facing camera for video calling. The HTC Chacha also comes with a decent 800 Mhz processor and storage card support for up to 32GBs.

When the Smartphone was first announced, it was said that it will come with a 600 Mhz, but mysteriously, at the time of the launch, it has received a 200 Mhz boost from HTC.

The device also comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread running on HTC Sense user interface platform which brings a new shine to the already amazing UI.
