iTunes 10.3 available for download

Just hours after announcing the launch of its iCloud music locker service, Apple has released iTunes 10.3... sort of.

The new release won't automatically download through opening iTunes as it normally would if you have the 'check for updates' box ticked, or even manually through Software Update, but you can get it direct from Apple.

UK users might be disappointed because many of the features relating to iCloud seem to have been hobbled if you're outside of the US of A, despite the release notes indicating the contrary. The installer splash screen says that the update includes the following features, although we can't find evidence of many of them in our freshly-installed version.

Automatic Downloads. Purchase music from any device or computer and automatically download a copy to your Mac and iOS devices.
