Vodafone tangos with the ChaCha

World's largest mobile telecommunications company Vodafone has now taken stock of the social networking HTC ChaCha handset, free on contracts starting from £26 a month.

HTC’s ChaCha is geared up for social networking with ‘one touch’ access to Facebook - where a dedicated button has been provided on the phone for quick and easy access to that very social networking website.

The ChaCha is HTC’s budget Qwerty keyboard BlackBerry–esque phone, with a 2.6-inch 480x320 touch screen, a 800MHz processor, 512MB of internal storage, a 5 Megapixel camera and Android ‘Gingerbread’ 2.3 with the HTC Sense overlay.

Vodafone’s HTC ChaCha deal comes with 300 minutes, an unlimited text message allowance, a 750MB mobile broadband bundle and a 1GB BT OpenZone WIFI offering.

The mobile phone is also available on a £20.50 a month price plan and the handset costing £99, with an accompanying 100 Includes, 500 text message bundle and a 250MB data allowance with 1GB of BT Openzone Wi-Fi access.

Three also listed this week the ChaCha, on a £20 a month deal with 500 minutes, a 5,000 text message bundle and a 500MB data allowance.
