Sanjay Jha, the chief executive officer of Motorola Mobility and his counterpart from Sprint Dan Hesse shared a stage in New York city to unveil a couple of brand new Android phones.
The new offerings are Motorola Photon 4G, which comes with an impressive touch screen, a dual-core processor and Android 2.3, as well as the Motorla Triumph, an Android 2.2 phone aimed at Virgin customers.
Both these phones are likely to hit the market in this summer. However, the duo did not disclose anything regarding the prices of these devices. Also, with this, the Photon 4G is going to be the first dual core offering by Sprint.
The Photon 4G features a highly impressive 8 megapixel rear camera, and a 4.3 inch touchscreen. Thanks to its Webtop application, as well as a special Smartphone dock, users of this device can also create content on a larger screen. Not just that, it is also equipped with a kickstand that makes hands-free watching possible. This feature has been exclusively designed for users who like to enjoy movies and television shows while on the move.
Meanwhile, apart from the 4G, there is another offering from Sprint in the HTC Evo 3D that may hit the market pretty soon- seems like Android enthusiasts really have a lot to celebrate over this summer.
