One Million Unlocked iPhones In Network Claims T-Mobile

In a new revelation, T-Mobile has revealed that there are around a million iPhones running on their network carrier service.

Representatives of T-Mobile, a mobile network carrier service based in the US has revealed that it has more than a million unlocked iPhones on its network. The breakdown as it stands is that most of these unlocked phones are pre-iPhone 4.

The information was given to 9 to 5 Mac (opens in new tab) by company’s spokespersons right before the Pepcom event held in the New York City.

As per the T-Mobile people, users have to cut their T-Mobile SIM card in order to fit them perfectly in to their already unlocked iPhones. However, the T-mobile network does not enable users to use a 3G or 4G service on their handsets due to lack of authenticated hardware. The spokesman has revealed that the company is in works to release a micro SIM card as soon as possible.

An unlocked phone is definitely a great escape from AT&T and its two year bound contract, making it easier for customers to carry the phone to other countries. Though, it can cost users a higher amount of price along with lack in services from the manufacturers.
