Three to get Sony Ericsson Xperia ray

Mobile phone network Three has announced it will be carrying the recently announced Sony Ericsson Xperia ray handset, when the mobile phone ships at the end of Q3 this year.

Sony Ericsson’s Xperia ray arrives with a 3.3-inch touch reality display and the mobile BRAVIA engine, with a 1Ghz processor and a 4GB microSD card, an 8.1 megapixel camera and HD recording capabilities, along with the Exmor R feature that allows for good image capture in low light.

The new mobile phone measures only 9.4mm in thickness and runs from the Android ‘Gingerbread’ 2.3 OS, with the Facebook inside Xperia for better social networking integration on the Sony Ericsson mobile phones

No prices or tariff details have been unveiled as yet by Three, although they are currently carrying the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc on contracts as low as £30 a month – where One Mobile Ring believes this could be matched, with 500 minutes, 5,000 text messages and a 1GB data allowance.

Check out the video below from Three that highlights the features of the new Sony Ericsson Xperia ray handset.
