Sony Ericsson Vivaz Now Available From £7.71 Per Month

If you're a lightweight user and want to have a smartphone with a decent camera, you could end up with much worse than this deal from T-Mobile which includes the Sony Ericsson Vivaz and carries a total cost of ownership of only £185 for the duration of the contract or £7.71 per month.

The deal is available only through this link (opens in new tab) and offers 100 minutes, 100 texts and a free booster which can be converted into free internet allowance.

The Vivaz is a superb entry level phone with some great features. It comes with a 720MHz Qualcomm SoC, a 3.2-inch 640x360 pixel resistive touchscreen, an 8.1-megapixel camera with AF and LED flash, a microUSB port, Wi-Fi, HD video recording and runs on Symbian Series 5th edition.

T-Mobile also dropped in an 8GB microSD card and the phone, which weighs only 97g, is a great alternative to those who may want to shy away from Android.

The Vivaz - which was released last year - was the last Symbian based smartphone released by Sony Ericsson in the UK; since then all the handsets have been based on Android.

The direct successor of Vivaz, the Neo, takes the best bits of the handset including the camera, improves a few features like the screen and the system on chip and delivers yet another great all-rounder smartphone.
