Oracle Exadata Helps Software Developers Move To The Cloud

Oracle has launched a new partner programme for independent software vendors (ISVs) for optimising applications to run on its Exadata Database Machine and Exalogic Elastic Cloud platforms.

The Oracle Exastack Program is aimed at moving ISVs to the cloud using Oracle’s products. The company claims that its cloud platforms will significantly boost application deployment and performance.

Apart from boosting performance, Oracle claims that by deploying applications on Exadata Database Machine and Exalogic Elastic Cloud platforms, ISVs will be able to reduce their costs, time and complexity.

Under the new partner program, developers will be able to submit the applications they modify for Oracle Exastack Ready certification. The certification will allow the applications to get the additional marketing and branding boost they require.

“In order to effectively differentiate their software applications in the marketplace, ISVs need to rapidly deliver new capabilities and performance improvements,” said Judson Althoff, Oracle senior vice president of Worldwide Alliances and Channels and Embedded Sales on MarketWatch (opens in new tab).

“With Oracle Exastack, ISVs have the ability to optimize and deploy their applications with a complete, integrated and cloud-ready infrastructure that will help them accelerate innovation, unlock new features and functionality, and deliver superior value to customers.”
