Security Expert Says Google+ Could Become One Big Spambot

Google's new social networking service could become the world's biggest spambot according to one SEO expert.

David Naylor told thinq_ that the service, which aims to replace Facebook as king of the social networkers, could be used to spread huge amounts of spam emails if loopholes in the current software aren't closed soon.

Naylor noted that the 'unsubscribe' link in the current trial, which is open to invitees only, is broken unless the user subscribes to Google's cloud-based Gmail service.

The fear is that the system could be used to send unwanted 'Stream Post' emails to millions of people using the huge contacts lists involved.
