Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft Steve Ballmer is going to be the central figure yet again at next year’s Consumer Electronics Show.
The Consumer Electronics Association announced yesterday that it will be Mr Ballmer once more, who will be delivering the kick-off keynote address during the opening night of the event.
Gary Shapiro, the CEA’s acting president, also expressed pleasure on behalf of his entire team to have Mr Ballmer back on stage once again for the CES 2012 opening.
"From mobile to desktop to gaming and beyond, Microsoft has a significant impact on all aspects of the consumer technology industry, and Steve Ballmer's keynote is a great way to kick off the exciting 2012 International CES,” Shapiro said, Cnet reports.
“We are excited to hear Microsoft's latest initiatives and Ballmer's vision for where consumer technology is heading," he added.
Mr Ballmer, much like last year, will be giving his keynote speech the night before the event officially kicks off in Las Vegas on January 9, at 18:30 PM sharp.
However, the only thing that will separate the 2012 edition of the event from the previous one is the location. In 2012 the CES is going to be held at the Venetian, instead of the Las Vegas Hilton.
