Technology giant Apple Inc. has unveiled on Monday, updates of its relatively less glamorous iDVD and iWeb software.
According to the company, iDVD and iWeb updates will be sized somewhere around 36 and 179 MB respectively. Apple also stated that the in addition to featuring patches for some minor issues, the new versions of the products bring along with them overall enhancement in the functionality and productivity factors.
While the company did not provide any further details about the new iWeb 3.04, besides claiming its superiority over the iWeb 3.0 version, the iDVD 7.1.2, on the other hand, boasts of several fixes made to the previous version.
The iDVD update, as the iPhone maker claims, is well capable of allowing users to have improved reliability when it comes to importing iPhoto 11 slideshows. Previously, an issue prohibited files to be re-linked in the earlier version of the product. Apart from that, the update also features solution to the annoying problem that forced the program to deploy all the available CPU powers while looking for missing files.
Both updated can be downloaded from Apple’s Support Download website, or simply by launching the Software Update utility present on Mac.
