Tech giant IBM has combined a couple of its e-commerce offerings into a single online suite with the view to simplifying work for data-welding marketing managers, the company announced.
The new offering, dubbed IBM Coremetrics Digital Marketing Optimisation Suite, combines the company’s Coremetrics Web analytics software with the widely popular Unica digital marketing package.
"There is one interface where you design your campaign and then see the results," Craig Hayman, general manager of IBM software industry solutions said, PC World reports.
While Coremetrics offers the company’s clients an online analytic which they can use for a wide range of purposes such as summarising the response received by Facebook campaigns, emails, texting etc; Unica, on the other hand facilitates a flock of tools that helps customers in the management of customer information and digital marketing campaigns.
According to Mr. Hayman, the merger of the two utilities will set a highly efficient platform for businesses to quickly evaluate the outcomes of a marketing campaign, as well as to carry out such campaigns with far more ease than ever before.
Expressing his point of view about this new offering, Yuchun Lee, vice president and general manager of enterprise marketing management at IBM said: “We're pretty confident this platform will be better than anything else out there".
