Super-reliable Fox News is reporting that three private homes in New York have been raided in connection with attempts to track down people involved with the online antics of hive-minded outfit Anonymous.
According to Fox, the FBI searched two addresses in Long Island, and one in Brooklyn in New York looking for youngsters and their computers.
The Fox report suggests its reporters were shown the relevant search warrants but no arrests or confiscations of kit have been reported as yet.
One of the individuals raided is named as Giordani Jordan, who got a a rude awakening at 6am local time this morning.
More details will no doubt emerge as the case unfolds.
The news broke just as Fox's commander-in-chief Rupert Murdoch gets a grilling in the UK House of Commons over rampant phone hacking and allegations of bunging the police. There is no suggestion Fox bunged the New York police to get its scoop.
